The country’s foremost provider of connectivity solutions recently engaged children and teens at the Gbagada Phase II Estate Tech Day. The event which held on July 20th, 2024, at the resident association’s secretariat, was sponsored by ipNX’s Retail Division and was another one in a series of strategic community engagement initiatives, designed to boost digital literacy among future tech leaders from a very early age.
As a champion of youth development in technology, ipNX understands the critical need to empower future leaders with the requisite skills needed to excel in a digital world. The Tech Day event, which attracted over eighty enthusiastic participants, offered a hands-on experience aimed at nurturing their curiosity and creativity.
Commenting on the event, Akintunde Taiwo, Head of Retail Sales at ipNX, remarked, “We are deeply committed to empowering the next generation of tech innovators. The Gbagada Phase II Estate Tech Day provided an excellent platform to ignite a sense of adventure and exploration in young minds. This initiative aligns seamlessly with our mission to create opportunities for learning and growth, ensuring that these young talents are well-equipped to lead the future.”
ipNX’s commitment to nurturing children is unrivalled. Earlier in the year, in celebration of Children’s Day, the Retail division of the ICT firm hosted an interactive online webinar titled “Building a Safe and Positive Online Presence for Your Child,” underscoring our dedication to creating a secure digital environment for young netizens.
In recognition of ipNX’s support for the tech day, the Parent and Child Online Safety Network awarded the company with a Certificate of Appreciation for its longstanding efforts in empowering future leaders through technology education, providing them with the necessary awareness and skills to embrace global opportunities and ultimately transforming the Nigerian ICT space.
