ipNX Trailblazers Join Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, Highlighting Commitment to Work-Life Balance, Overall Fitness, and Wellness.
ipNX, Nigeria’s leading unified connectivity solutions provider joined the recent Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, held on February 10th, 2024. The ipNX Trailblazers team who participated were led by Shade Efiong-Bassey, Group Executive Director, HR & Corporate Services, and Chris Oputteh, Deputy Divisional CEO, Operations, ipNX Infrastructure Division. The team was comprised of employees from across the various business regions who had demonstrated a passion for organization-wide fitness and wellness initiatives and were determined to personify the true speed of ipNX at this year’s 10km marathon.
While crossing the finish line was a significant achievement, the success of ipNX’s participation lies in the embodiment of team spirit, grit, sheer will, and collective accomplishments. As part of its employee engagement focus, ipNX fosters an inclusive culture that aims to balance work and life, leverages physical wellness for intellectual performance, and encourages all-round fitness, good health, and well-being.
Shade Efiong-Bassey shared her excitement on the achievement of the trailblazers, she noted, “The resilience and positive energy displayed by the team at the marathon was truly inspiring. Beyond the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, the race enabled the demonstration of corporate values embedded in mutual respect, support for one another, healthy competition, and celebrating collective successes amongst others. We are especially thankful for the support of our colleagues who continued to cheer us all the way. The overall goal is to strive for a balanced work life which ultimately impacts on productivity and performance”.
